About.

Suzana is an artist, musician, DJ, Movement Facilitator & Wilderness Rites of Passage guide. She has been immersed in the areas of healing, movement, somatic work & ceremony for over 9 years, and the visual arts & music for over 20 years. In addition to her own personal exploration of movement on dance floors and in forests and deserts around the globe, Suzana spent a year in the work-study program at The Moving Center School in Northern California immersed in 5 Rhythms dance workshops led by a global faculty before completing her Dancing Freedom facilitator certification in 2011. Suzana is also trained as a Wilderness Rites of Passage guide with The School of Lost Borders, which uses pan-cultural elements found to be shared through cultures all over the world.

She combines her love of dance, self-generated ceremony & wilderness rites of passage work to offer a container that supports people in discovering the unique medicine they contain & embodying their purpose in life.

The weaving together of movement, nature, sound healing and ceremony facilitates the healing, discovery, retrieval and integration of all levels of Self, including the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. She believes in the wisdom of the Earth, the body’s innate capacity to heal and transform trauma, and the alchemical process of emotions that allows us to experience the fullness of life that is our birthright.

Suzana travels globally offering workshops, doing wilderness rites of passage work and DJing at Ecstatic Dances. When she's not out & about spreading movement & wilderness medicine, she makes her home in the beautiful, nourishing Pacific Northwest.
